Hoping to see great talent

He also explains: “For a young conductor, competitions are a unique chance to get professional feedback from experienced jury members, young colleagues and not least the musicians of a first-class orchestra.”

As part of the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR), the Danish National Symphony Orchestra will ensure extensive media coverage of the Malko competition week through worldwide livestreaming of the competition on the competition’s own web platform www.malkocompetition.dk as well as editorial coverage on DR’s broadcasting platforms and a strong social media presence.
