From Musical America Worldwide, January 19

“MILAN – A performance of Turandot at Italy's Teatro Regio Torino ended early last night [January 18] when a high-lying piece of the set toppled to the ground, injuring two chorus members. The curtain had just closed on Act 2, when a violent thud was heard, followed by ‘screams and a general stampede’ onstage. The theater was evacuated.”
