Sinfonia of London
Formed originally in 1955, Sinfonia of London was re-established in 2018 by the British conductor John Wilson to devote itself, at least initially, to recording projects. This recording of Korngold’s Symphony in F sharp is the orchestra’s first CD, issued in partnership with Chandos Records, and is released in September 2019. Further discs will follow over the coming months.
Chandos Records is one of the world’s premier classical music record companies, best known for its ground-breaking search for neglected musical gems. Renowned for its superb sound quality, Chandos has won many prestigious awards for its natural sound.
